I assisted Nick in editing his Statement of Purpose for his Harvard Master’s degree application. Through one session of working with Nick, I helped him identify what value he could bring to Harvard and the reason he wanted to pursue a Master’s degree. This helped solidify a focus within his essays, along with offering a compelling story about the unique experiences and talents he could offer on campus.

I assisted Tom in editing and structuring his Statement of Purpose and Personal Achievements Essay. Through two sessions, I helped Tom identify past work experience and skillset that he could highlight within his essays. Within two sessions, I gave him feedback on ways to captivate the UC admissions team with his writing through word choice and sentence structure.

I assisted Leah in brainstorming, editing, and structuring her Personal Statement. Through one session talking, she was able to come back to me with a very polished first draft. From there, I revised and highlighted areas to improve on. By the end, Leah had a finalized essay that was ready to be submitted with her application.

Leah’s future goals after graduation:

“I know I want to work with children and teenagers but not exactly sure in what setting yet. Long term, I eventually want to have my own private practice.”

I assisted Nathan with the entire application process for multiple undergraduate programs. He received acceptance letters from: San Diego State University, University of California Santa Cruz, University of Oregon Eugene, and University of Colorado Boulder. I started with helping him identify schools to apply to, along with selecting a major. From there, I created a schedule to complete 7 essays, scheduling deadlines for brainstorming and draft cycles. At the end, I helped him select teachers to write his letter of recommendations, fill out parts of his application, and ensure he submitted everything on time.

Nathan’s future goals after graduation:

“With my degree I hope to create political reform in terms of human impact on the environment or just educating others on the subject.”

I assisted Sarah in editing and structuring her Personal Statement and resume. Through three rounds of robust editing, she wrote a creative piece about her upbringing and passion for screenwriting. I helped her in writing a creative story that wove together her strengths and skills that set her apart from other candidates.
